I finally got some shopping done! My mom and I went to Joann's, Recollections, and I hit up Michael's on the way home. They didn't have anything on sale, so I spent a whopping $5 on ribbon and silk flowers. I got some good deals at Joann's, including a new trimmer, some card stock, and the new PaperCrafts magazine You Go Girl....It's got some really neat designs in it. I'm never disappointed when it comes to their magazines. :)
So I made this card last night with my newest SU set, Big Blooms. I also used the new punch to make the notebook tears on the side (I can't remember the name of the punch!). I scrap-lifted the sketch from Sandyluvs2stamp from SCS. I am liking this set more and more each time I use it.
I tried something different and outlined the big and small flowers with my markers, and I like how it makes the flowers stand out more. I will have to do that more often on these big stamps!
The cards that I am getting in for our card swap over at Secret Scrapper and just really cute! It's very obvious that the ladies in this swap really spent a lot of time and effort in making these cards, and that's what makes swaps so enjoyable!!! I can't wait to see everyone else's!!

The punch is the SU spiral punch and it actaully fits in spiral albums. Cool way to add special pages..
No, I haven't gotten my cards yet! Bummer! Someone was supposed to pick them up and bring them to me, but I haven't heard from her yet. I guess I'll email her. =)
