HI!

Hello! I had the past 4 days off from work...but I was running around like a mad woman! Thursday we went down to the school to pay for my classes and get my ID card (going back to school to finish getting my degree...which will be Global Business Management with my area of concentration in Leadership). Then went and did some shopping, had lunch and cleaned the house up. Friday I went to my WW meeting, did some more shopping, stalked to mail man and UPS man (Finally got my new SU set for demo's and my Papertrey Ink shipment) and cleaned some more. Our best friends from California flew in for Darrin's party this weekend, so after we picked them up we went to Denny's as it was the only thing open at midnight and finally went to bed at 2. Got up at 8 on Saturday to take my friend out and about to get some last minute things for the party and some really girly balloons that we put up around the house and outside. Needless to say Darrin was a little embarrassed!!! My friend bought me a really pretty purse, wallet and shirt (THANKS BUCHO!). The party was an absolute blast. I wish we could do that all of the time! Sunday was then just a chill out day. Took my friend to Dillard's, ate Macayo's for a late lunch and then dropped them off at the airport. Here are some pics from the party:

Now onto some crafty stuff!!!!!

This card & matching envelope were made using my new Papertrey Ink set Piece of Cake. My friend asked me to make a wedding card using sage green and pink and lots of bling. I CASE'd it from this card. I think it turned out pretty darn cute!! I hope the recipients enjoy it as well. I absolutely LOVE Papertrey ink stamps. They are my fav's next to Stampin'Up! They are the best quality acrylic stamps I have used so far, and even though I only own 5 sets, I do plan on buying more as Nichole releases them. :) Check out her site and all of her other cool products. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. (No, I was not paid to say anything about her site or anything like that, I really do LOVE her stuff!!!!!)

Speaking of stamps, the new Stampin' Up! catalogs will be available around the first of January. I am going to be placing an order for catalogs at the beginning of December, so if you are interested in a catalog, please email me at my contact link to the left. The catalog will also be available to look at online January 2nd, 2008. The retired stamp list will be posted on their site 12/1 and the retired accessories list will be on their site 12/10.

My good friend Teresa came over tonight and we made some cute ornaments out of pattern paper and a cute goodie box. I haven't taken pics yet, but I will soon.

OH! Before I forget, I am working on a really neat and versatile album for the Secret Scrapper website, so stay tuned for a posting about the project in the next week or so. It's going to be really neat, I promise!!!

OK, off to bed. :)
