HELLO WINTER!

WOW. Today was a cold one for us. We just got done having about 2 days straight of non stop rain. We spent 4+ hours putting lights up today.....We decided to get a bunch of green net lights and lay them in the yard to make it look like grass, and then get a few strands of blue lights and wrapped them around the bottom of our tree to simulate a pond of water. Then put the 2 light up deer around the water. Once we finish tomorrow I'll get pics and post them. It looks really COOL!
I found this idea for a box made using acetate here. Lauren has some of the cutest ideas and cards!!! I decided to give it a whirl and this is how it came out:

The measurements fit 10 squares of chocolate, however I only bought 4 bags of chocolate and only 9 come in each, so I wanted to make them stretch. I added some gift bag stuffing to the bottom of it and added 5 squares of chocolate instead. I stamped the outside of the acetate with my Priceless set from SU in white Staz-On. The star on the tag is from the Take a Bough set from Papertrey Ink, and the little flourshes around it are from Priceless, both stamped in Real Red. the sentiment is from a pack of rub-on's made by Cosmo Cricket and the star brad is from my stash. I outlined the red tag in Diamond Stickles. I think it came out cute for my first try! I did find some better gift bag stuffing at Target last night, and I'll finish making the boxes this week and post them later on.

That's it for now! Have a great night!
