Only 2 1/2 more days!

Only 2 and a half more days until Christmas! I'm getting excited!

So I had a pretty busy Friday/Saturday. Friday I headed to Recollections on lunch to do some shopping. Work was really slow so I took a bit of an extended lunch! They have everything 20% off, so I bought quite a bit....paper, alcohol inks, adhesive, Stickles, ink, overlays.....a bunch of stuff I probably won't use anytime soon! :) Today my mom and I went back to Recollections, bought some more stuff......then headed down to Hobby Lobby and Claim Jumper and met up with our great friends Liz , her daughter Amanda and Teresa for some girly shopping time. Didn't get too much at HL this time around. I have been lounging around most of the day, cleaning my craft room and making some cards. Here is one that was pretty simple to do:

The card stock, ribbon and paper are from my stash (probably all from Michaels). I used a circle stamp from the Papertrey Ink set Take a Bough and used Versamark on it to place the dots on the upper half. The word 'hello' is from a Making Memories double-sided sticker set, and the glitter on top is by Art Accentz (it's called PEACH). I really love the stickers, because I can put any color glitter I want on them! I made a couple other things today that I can't post yet, but will soon!

Tomorrow i'll probably do nothing all day long, and just make some more cards!!! We have 99% of our Christmas shopping done. Darrin needs to stop into Best Buy tomorrow for a gift card, and that's it.

One of my favorite things about this time of the year are the Christmas light displays around the neighborhood and the classic movies on TV. Typically Christmas Eve the hubby and I drive around looking at the lights and watch "A Christmas Story", "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and the original "Grinch Who Store Christmas". I'm hoping to also find on TV "A Charlie Brown Christmas Story". It's been a tradition of ours for the past couple years to watch all of these movies on Christmas Eve and have a nice dinner at home. I think a "nice" dinner at home this year will consist of chicken and instant mashed potatoes!!! I may not post until after Christmas, so have a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family. Take care!
