Papertrey CASE

I'm sure you've seen me post that I absolutely LOVE Papertrey Ink stamps. They are such great designs and the quality is amazing! I was browsing their stamps when I came across this card: http://papertreyink.com/pt_heather_justsmile.html I immediately had to buy the set. I purchased it a couple months ago and just played with it the other night. I totally CASE'd it, as I have a hard time coming up with my own ideas, so this is my take on it:

The cardstock (dark brown, light brown and white) are all DCWV. The strip of purple pp on the bottom is also DCWV, from the fall stack I believe. The flowers and sentiment are from the Paper Tray set (Papertrey Ink). The ribbon is something from my stash, probably from Michael's. It was a quick card to put together! I was pleased with the results!

I have been working all weekend, and browsing the Internet for some scrappy ideas. Weekends are usually very slow for me when I work, which is only once every 7 weeks, so i get time to catch up on blog surfing, web browsing, etc. Teresa gave me this great idea of creating a mojo jar. She emailed me several pages of "things" to do, like using buttons on a card, using a certain type of punch, or technique. There were about 1000 different ideas, so I cut them all up here at work and plan on putting them in a jar tonight. When I have a creativity block, I'll pull out an idea from the mojo jar and get started. I've never done something like that before, so I'm anxious to try it!

I also woke up this morning feeling a little sick, so I IMMEDIATELY swabbed some Zicam in my nose. It doesn't feel like it's getting any worse (thank God), so hopefully I feel better tomorrow. I have to get some stuff done for the release of my card kits over at Secret Scrapper, and new products that we are showcasing as well so I am really hoping this sick feeling only lasts a bit longer. Have a great night!

I just love the mojo jar idea. I do little challenges like that, it really does give a focus when you sit down to create. I look forward to seeing your results!

Hope you feel better soon too.
