Some more cards

Here are a few more cards that I made yesterday. I am attempting to use up all of my scraps before cutting new paper......i don't think I've scratched the surface of my scraps! I'll be doing some major downsizing of the scrap bucket tomorrow. Anyhow, onto the cards:

For the card above, I used some scraps from my Dressed Up stack by DCWV (center strip). The black strip on top was stamped with a square pattern stamp and then embossed with clear EP. The pink strip below is from a double sided sheet of SEI Morning Meadow PP. The stamp is from Michaels $1 clear stamps, and the flower was punched out. The button and black floss are from my stash.

This next card was again made from the Dressed Up stack from DCWV. The ribbon and rub-on (margarita glass) are from the Dressed Up line as well. The sentiment "have fun!" were some stickers I found in my stash.

This last card was made using some black scrap card stock and a strip of scrap paper made from KI Memories. The THANK was stamped in black ink and then embossed clear (it's from a set of foam stamps I picked up at Big Lots a few months back). The U was stamped in Versamark and them embossed white. There is faux stitching on the top and bottom, and a red piece of ribbon from my stash.

Nothing fancy, just trying to use up some scraps! My mom and I visited Scrapbooks ETC. out in Mesa. That store never ceases to amaze me! It's total sensory overload in that store! We only visit it a couple times a year since it's about an hour drive from where we live, but TOTALLY worth it! We also visited this really cool bead store. Sorry, I don't remember the name, but it was really neat. I don't bead, my momma does, and she picked up some cool beads. We then ate at Chompies and I HAD to buy a personal creme brulee to go. That will be my dinner tomorrow! HA!
