So a LOT has gone on in my life the past couple weeks. My direct supervisor put in her 2 week notice (I'm definitely sad that she is gone!) and I have been working really hard to fill in that gap on my team. No easy feat I tell ya! :) I have been so tired this week and have been going to bed SUPER early!
I also had an eye appointment last week and found out I need glasses. It was only a matter of time!! Most everyone in my family has bad eyes so it was bound to happen. his might explain why I get such nasty migraines. :) I picked out these really cute Coach glasses and was so excited when I called and found out they were ready. So we truck down there and after he adjusted them to my face, we saw a huge scratch, about 1/4 inch, in one of the frames. So he's got to send them back to be redone and I have to wait until next week to get them! UGH! Things happen, I was just really bummed. Oh well!
So after the disappointment at the eye doctor, my husband and I then decided to head over to Olive Garden for their soup, salad and bread stick lunch. OH IT HIT THE SPOT! It is so good!!! We then headed to Target and I bought this package of eye drops my eye doctor recommended. They work REALLY well, and if you are interested they are called Systane. They really help lubricate and get any "grit" out of your eyes. They are a tad pricey ($13 for a 30ml bottle) but are SOO worth it! I don't know if they work if you have contacts, as the bottle or package doesn't say...
I also signed up last week for my very first beading class. We are making this pretty Lucite flowery looking bracelet. I don't know how else to describe it, and don't have a pic of it, but it's really pretty!! My mom and I are going together, so that should be really fun. :)
I do have some creative stuff to post, but my work and school schedule has been really hectic the past couple weeks, so if I get some time this weekend I'll post. :) I'm sorry if I haven't left any comments on my sister's blogs, I have been so busy, and am actually working from home as we speak so I can catch up on stuff.
