Back in the swing of things!

I'm back, and I have my creative juices flowin' again! It's been a very busy couple weeks for me. We are still interviewing for positions at work, so we should be done with those in the next week or so.

I fell down last weekend in a dirt parking lot, while I was carrying a vase full of flowers, and completely biffed, face down in the dirt!! I was so thankful that I didn't break the vase, and was even more thankful that I didn't get my new purse dirty! My elbow got scraped up really bad, and my knee still looks like I was in World War III.....but it's slowly recovering.

I started summer school last week (CIS 105 and PHI216), and it's kicking my a$$, especially the Philosophy class (Environmental Ethics). My craft table hasn't seen the light of day in a few weeks! I did manage to get this card made for the weekly card challenge over at Secret Scrapper:


It's actually going to be mailed to a friend this week. :)

Nothing else major going on....bought some new window treatments for the kitchen and dining room. The couple that had the house before us hand made these God awful curtains, and after living with them for 4 years I decided I couldn't take it. So several trips to Walmart and the job is done! I have to have Darrin hang a valance for me tonight, and then I'll take pics.

Tonight I am making home made shredded beef to have some burritos and Mexican rice.
