April's Creative Corner

This card was made for my best friend who needed a card for her 6 year old cousin. I almost was going to trash this half way through, but as I progressed it finally started looking good!

And as I was going through our vacation pics, I ran across these:

This is my best friend's dog, Sadie. We have know Sadie ever since she was adopted by my friend. She is a pretty hyper dog..for the most part. The 2 most unique things about her (we think) are that 1-she gets so excited she whines. Doesn't bark, but whines.....like she's in pain. It's not a normal whine by any means. #2-the whining only worsens when she sees Darrin. See, her and Darrin have this "thing".....they have had this "thing" ever since they laid eyes on each other 4+ years ago. Every time we'd go to her house here in Phoenix, Sadie would get so excited to see Darrin. SO excited she'd pee on the floor. Every time. Keep in mind, she really only gets this way with Darrin.........no one else. Well, the peeing happens more often than the whining.

My friend moved to Cali and took Sadie.......and Darrin's heart just sank. Well, any time we go to see my friend, which happens about twice a year, Darrin's eyes light up and all he can talk about is going to see Sadie the week leading up to us going to visit her. The SECOND they see each other, they are rolling around on the ground, she kisses him everywhere, and whines until it pisses us off.....it's actually the most hilarious thing! He really enjoys seeing Sadie, and Sadie enjoys seeing him. I'm OK with it.....I have learned to share with Sadie, because I know it's only temporary. :)
