Hola! Just popping in for a quick update before bed. This weekend was so much fun! Friday morning Natalie and I headed out to Mesa to Scrapbook's Etc. and Scrapbook Barn and met up with Liz, Debbie and Teresa. We all ate lunch at Serrano's and Liz's mom met up with us. After going home for a couple hours we all met up at Macayo's for dinner Friday. We sat on the patio and it was a beautiful night! Saturday morning my mom and I went to our knitting class and learned a few more stitches. After that I headed to Teresa's to meet up with the girls and do some scrapping. I ended up making 8 of these for a friend:

And made some tags for my friends that were croppin' with me:

Can you tell I love Kim Hughes stamps!

And below are 2 pics of our dinner from Sunday. I am going to try to make one never before made meal in my house on the weekends and blog it. I want to try new recipes and quit having the same ol stuff every day, so starting once a week will get me going. Sunday night we had Chicken and Biscuits and for dessert we had Freestyle Apple Tart. Both recipes here have links and were found in the Fall 2008 Food & Family Kraft Magazine:

I had tons of left over chicken that went well with the chicken and biscuits. It looks likes slop, but tastes really good. The one thing I will do differently next time is add a touch of water to the sour cream and cream of chicken mixture. It was a *little* thick, but other than that, very good! I used canned green beans and canned corn, and came out just fine. I just didn't have any frozen veggies on hand (and I prefer canned over frozen anyhow.)

Well, that's about it!
