Today...

Happy Saturday! Today was a pretty relax day. I went to my mom's and she taught me how to make a fabric journal. Here's my cover:

I think it came out alright for a first timer. :) All I need to do now is put pages in it. We also went to a couple Goodwill's and picked up a few things. It was 50% off everything, so a lot of the stuff at both locations were picked through, but still managed to walk out with some things.

I also have been working on an advent calendar. I found the idea here on Two Peas In A Bucket. Here is my take on it:



It's still drying a little bit, so I'll probably hang it tonight. Each box is filled with either a Tootsie Roll, Hershey's Miniature, or two Starburst. I made it primarily for my husband....I highly doubt he'll be able to do just one box a day since all of the candy in it are some of his favs! The last box has a note in that says "redeemable for a special treat!" It'll probably be a small gift or something...I haven't thought that far ahead!

Tomorrow I'll probably get started on my Christmas cards and start making another fabric journal.
