April's Creative Corner

So yesterday my mom and I went out and did a little bit of shopping....went to 2 Savers, Joann's. had lunch, and then went to Walmart. The only thing I love about Walmart is their fabrics dept. All of their fabric is so much cheaper than Joann's, and I'll be sad when they remodel one by my house, because when they do, their fabric dept. is going bye bye! So this is the stack of fabric I got yesterday:



All of it costs less than 10 bucks!!! Keeping in mind I bought 1/2 yards of the stuff at Walmart to give 1/2 to my mom! So yeah, love Walmart fabric department! Also, the cherry print on the bottom was from Savers.

And these coordinating prints will be used for something cool too (not sure exactly what yet!)

So that's pretty much it! Today I'm working 12-9, then have to be back at the office at 8 on Tuesday. Last night I watched the final episode of True Blood. OH MY GOSH. Really wasn't expecting that ending! I mean, they eluded to who the killer was last week, but I didn't expect it to end like it did! :) If you aren't a True Blood watcher, it's on demand (Cox cable)...go watch it!

I also picked up the second book in the Twilight series last night at Target. I'm 1/2 way done with the first book and hope to have it done by the first week of December. VERY good read!!! I was also excited to get an email from paperbackswap.com....someoene posted Twilight from my wish list, so I snatched it up real quick!!! I can then give back the one I'm reading and keep my own copy!

I won't be posting much this week....I want to work on playing with my fabric! Wednesday evening I'll be getting some stuff made for Thanksgiving, then Thursday it'll be time with my family.
