I'm DYEING to tell you about my day!

Today my mom came over and we went shopping...of course.....and picked up a bunch of good stuff. First stop was Joann's where we loaded up on fabric, tulle, Rit dye and muslin. Then we headed over to Big Lots and stocked up on their rub ons. American Crafts rub ons for only 2 bucks! Then we headed to Savers, but they were pretty much cleaned out and we only ended up getting a couple books. We then ate Cheesecake Factory and had to practically be rolled out of the restaurant because we stuffed ourselves!!!! Then back to my place to start dyeing and creating! I snapped a few pics of our afternoon:

I painted the canvas paper a while ago at my mom's and she helped sew on it today:
And this is another cool piece we did. Again I painted the canvas paper at her house a while ago and she sewed all the magic on it:

I loved dying all of the fabric and stuff. We also dyed some lace and trim, but I didn't get a picture of it. So all in all it was a great day. She also showed me how to use the sewing machine she gave me, since the one I have pretty much sucks. Thanks again mom!

I just got done doing some boring-a$$ math homework and am about to pull my hair out, so I'll take a break for tonight and finish up laundry and go to bed soon.
