Over the weekend my mom bought me this awesome sewing machine just like hers:



I'm in heaven! It's so lighweight and does tons of neat stitches!!! Thanks mom, it's great!

In our Yahoo group we are making a chunky book that's going to be filled with different cards. I chose business cards and Uno cards. Here are my business cards:



I have about 500 business cards at work and these worked out great! I took an old page protector, put some drops of paint in between the plastics and smooshed them together and pulled them apart. When they dried I cut them up and sewed them onto the painted card. I then stamped the bird in the cage and the sentiment, added a ribbon and rhinestone and burned the edges. That was the fun part!
