EDITED TO ADD MONDAY 3/29******
Oh God, I forgot about the nickel in the sewing machine incident!!! My mom decided it was a good idea to clean my sewing machine for me. Nice gesture, right? Well, in order to get to the insides where the bobbin case it, you need to take a nickel to one of the screws to get it loose. Well, in the process of unscrewing it, the nickel fell into the machine. It kept rattling around, and quite frankly, it was f-ing annoying. I didn't want the nickel to somehow get in there and mess up my machine, so she took the whole machine apart to get out one friggin nickel.
We also ran into our friend Jane at Joann's. :) Her and my mom were both looking for purple fabric, and they both ended up making a mess out of the sample upholstery fabric there. :)
See? When we get together, it's a party.........
When I am with my mom. See, anytime we are out and about, specifically at a Savers, Goodwill, Joann's, Hobby Lobby or Big Lots, something always "happens". Whether we see a pot smoking man holding up a car wash sign and there is no car wash around, or we are getting ready to eat at Sweet Tomato's and just happen to sit next to the loudest people in the whole building.........something always happens. This Saturday a couple things happened. #1-as mentioned, we were sitting down to eat lunch and out of the blue we hear this booming, screeching voice a couple feet away from us, talking about how this woman baked bread in 13x9 pans (that's a big loaf of bread!). This went on for the entire duration of our lunch. #2-while checking out at the grocery store, the cashier was drooling over our cake, and mom proceeded to tell him that it was an addiction to crack, and the cashier made comments about how good the cake must really be. Um.......smoke crack much? LOL!
I did manage to snap some shots of my mom and my brother having a good old time after dinner:Nefflies, pork chops and Italian creme cake. Doesn't get any better than that.
My mom finished up a special present for me while at my house. A needle book:This is a very special case. Why you ask? Well, you will have to wait until June to see!!!
