Oh Hello!

It's been a few days since I've posted. Work has been busy! Anyhow, I made 2 of these. This one is going to hang in my craft room. I used the flower wall decoration from my friend Mandy's site Secret Scrapper. I used the Lilly Kate line from Basic Grey. I also used some Diamond Stickles on some of the swirls and dots on the paper, but it doesn't come through on the picture. I'm still trying to find some coordinating ribbon to use as the hanger, but I'll find something in my stash. :) The other one is for my friend, and i'll take that to her when I go to Cali next week...I want to surprise her with it so I'll post a pic once I give it to her.





I'm also working on the ME album that Lisa Bearnson/Creating Keepsakes put out last year...you know...the one where a portion of proceeds made went to breast cancer research? Yeah, that one in the green box! I am just now getting around to making it. I'm almost done, so I'll post that when I finish. I never thought i'd put it together since I don't really do albums, but it's been fun to put together, and am getting ideas as I go along to put on the journaling pages.

Darrin took his final exam for one of his classes and got an A. He's only got about 2 more years to go until he gets his AA (taking 2 classes a semester is all he can do while working full time). I told him that once he graduates we'll take a nice cruise or vacation back east. It's long overdue!

Next Thursday we are taking a trip to Anaheim to hang out with my bestest friend and her boyfriend (Darrin and Ryan get along surprisingly well for a bunch of video playing men!) . It'll be a busy 4 days--shopping, going to the beach all day, massages, dinners, and just having a blast being together! I am also meeting one of my favorite scrapping buddies, Kristi, for the first time in person. It's bad enough we talk on the phone all day and message each other constantly, now we are going to meet and spend one whole day shopping at some of the best scrapbook stores in southern CA! Watch out....between spending the day with Kristi and being with my best friend, trouble is coming full force! LOL! Have a good night everyone.
