Monday....yuk

Happy Monday everone! It's been pretty drizzly here....rain and clouds all day long. I actually love rainy days! I just wish I didn't have to spend it at work, but oh well!

I finished my Christmas cards and will take a pic of those soon. For my co workers I made these:

The inside contains a Mrs. Fields package of chocolates that I bought at Target in the $1 section. Last year I went all out and made ornaments for everyone, but I decided to keep it inexpensive and simple this year.

I joined a Wizard of Oz swap that my mom, Jane and I came up with, and my page will be Dorothy. I am thinking of cutting a wooden spool in 1/2 and making that her body, taking some blue gingham and wrapping the spool, and making her arms and legs out of wire and beads...her ruby slippers will be a bright red jewel. I haven't decided what I will do with her face.....possibly print out a picture of it and put some brown curly hair on it. We'll see.......
