Only 3 1/2 days left...

Until Christmas! I love Christmas time....I really like COLD weather. Seriously. I don't know what it is, but I like the cold! If I could live somewhere where we actually had 4 seasons, I would be in heaven! (mom, take me with you to VA!)

Last night we had my sister in law and niece up for dinner. They gave us this cute hot cocoa set that included cocoa, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate. Oh, and these cute mugs:

I had to work today....which I hate working on Sundays. It's wayyyyy to slow. But in return, I get the day after Christmas off, so I have a nice 4 day weekend ! Tonight I went to Michael's to pick up a set of BloPens. Remember those from when you were a kid? They apparently make a great airbrush look, so I figured I'd get a set for $5 (had a 50% off coupon!) and try them out on some projects that I have due in the very near future. While I was there, I picked up a few things, including these acrylics on clearance for 4 bucks! Now I need to get some gloss medium to stretch these babies out!


And I promised pictures of my Christmas cards. I made ones in red, blue and green using various papers, ribbons, fabrics, and embossed papers to come up with these:



The hats have puffy paint on them, and of course they are Kim Hughes stamps! The insides say "Howly Jowly Christmas". Very appropriate I think.

Oh, and my mom and I went to SAS Fabrics yesterday.............BIG MISTAKE! LOL We spent way to much in there, but dang, it is AWESOME! Some day when I get more time and money, I need to go and just spend an hour or so really digging in the bins and boxes and stuff.
