Lazy Sunday

Last night's dinner was great. The steak was excellent (from Costco) and we played several rounds of Catch Phrase.

Here are a couple pictures of what I've been up to lately. Here is our most recent Rolodex Swap on my Penney-Jane Mixed Media group. This theme was text, so somewhere on your card you must have text. My mom's is the dragonfly in the upper right corner. The first one on the left is Jane's....it's a pocket with text inside the pocket. VERY FUNNY STUFF! Mine is the 6th one (3rd row, last card).


These are two pages I did for an ABC chunky book swap that we received back the other day. R=Red Roses and O=Owl. The entire book came out great and as soon as I get it bound today I'll take a pic soon.


These are the inchies that I made for a swap off another yahoo site. The theme was nature. There is a gold leaf adhered on the top. I stamped the bird using a $1 set I picked up a Michael's a while back. The crown is from a set I picked up at Frenzy Stamper. I stamped it onto some scrap paper, cut it out and adhered it onto the bird's head. I added some turquoise Stickles also. The background paper is something I painted either at my mom's or while she was over here one day. It has a shimmer to it, but the camera didn't pick it up.


I need to purchase plastic pages to put my inchies in, my collection is growing and I have nowhere to display them!

Alright, I'm off to the thrift store to see if I can find any games....Scrabble, Bingo, Monopoly, Clue......the game pieces are a hot commodity!
